Fulfilling a youthful longing as an adult.
Celeina: We sent Sade’s “Kiss Of Life” as RK’s song of choice. RK, is there any culture you’re into outside of work?
RK：I love clothes, like UNDERCOVER, AFFA, GOODENOUGH, etc. Recently, I collect a lot of UNDERCOVER clothes that were released in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Celeina：Do you have a desire to curate or design something yourself?
RK: Some of them are still released through collaborations, so I brought them today as souvenirs.
Takano: As a souvenir! Thank you very much.
RK:Yesterday, KATSU brought “SLOUCH SOCKS” with him. I thought I couldn’t lose, so I brought a T-shirt that is now on sale.
Takano: Today I am wearing the socks that KATSU gave me yesterday, but I will wear this T-shirt tomorrow.
Celeina：I understand that you collect fashion items from the Ura harajuku. What do you find attractive about items from the 1990s?
RK：I couldn’t afford to buy them back then because they were too expensive. Nowadays, items from that era, such as UNDERCOVER and BATHING APE, are sold on the Internet. They are getting more expensive, though.
Takano: As an adult, you have more money to spend than when you were young, so I can understand why people buy things they wanted in the past but could not afford.
Celeina：But I, too, am now in my late twenties, and I’m enjoying the joys of being in my late twenties.
RK: What is it, for example?
Celeina：When I was a student, I wanted a pair of Dr. Martens 8-hole or 10-hole boots, but I didn’t have the money, so I wore boots that looked like 8-holes just for the atmosphere. But when I became an adult, Dr. Martens asked me to wear them, and I was really happy.
RK: Now, adults all over the country are sympathizing with you.
Celeina: I wonder if they sympathize with me. But it’s nice to be an adult. Now, “FIST BUMP” is a circle of friends connected by goo touch, and you are asking people to introduce their friends to you.
RK: Yes, I would like to introduce Takahiro Okazawa, who works on INQUIRING.
Celeina：How did you become friends?
RK: I think he was probably introduced to me by Ryo Ishikawa of #FR2. We often work together, but we also live close to each other, and he often invited me out for drinks, and before I knew it, we had become very good friends.
Celeina：If you had to sum it up in one word.
RK: For me, he is the coolest senior in Tokyo.
