Cowboy Bebop: The Movie returns to Japanese theaters in 4K on October 30, with new details revealed about the exclusive gifts and merchandise available to moviegoers.
First released in 2001, the film takes place between episodes 22 and 23 of the original Cowboy Bebop anime series, following the Bebop crew as they investigate a mysterious incident on Mars. The new 4K version was fully supervised by the series’ director, Shinichiro Watanabe.
Fans heading to theaters can pick up exclusive gifts released in three rounds. From October 30 to November 5, they’ll receive a collectible sheet designed to look like a movie ticket, followed by a transparent film-style sheet from November 6 to 12. Both come in three designs, handed out at random. Die-cut stickers will be available from November 13, while supplies last.
A range of exclusive merchandise will also be on sale, including acrylic stands, A5 acrylic panels, clear folders and A3 posters featuring the film’s 25th-anniversary artwork. Fans can also pick up a reworked edition of the original theatrical program from the film’s 2001 release.
