Masayoshi Takanaka has announced a new Japan tour, SUPER TAKANAKA LIVE 2026-2027, following a sold-out run across Europe, North America, and Australia.
The nationwide tour will begin September 18 at Katsushika Symphony Hills Mozart Hall and span 19 dates through February 28, 2027, marking a large-scale homecoming after the guitarist’s international success.
The tour arrives during a milestone year for Takanaka. 2026 marks 50 years since the release of his solo debut Seychelles, while also celebrating the 40th anniversary of Jungle Jane, the album featuring fan-favorite track “SHAKE IT,” recently revived on his world tour setlists.
Ahead of the Japan dates, Takanaka is also set to headline Palace Bowl Presents City Pop Waves at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 7.
Presale ticket applications for the Japan tour begin May 13 at 10 am.
