A circle of friends connected by gut touch! The “FIST BUMP” corner of the radio program “GRAND MARQUEE” features people who live and enjoy Tokyo in a relay format.

On December 26, Rina Ogawa, who is the CEO of a consulting company focusing on digital marketing and also offers a perfume recommendation service based on skin scent, appeared on the show. She also talked about how she lives her life with Beyonce in her heart.

Perfume selection starts from the smell of your skin. A perfume service that is an eye-opener

Celeina (MC): Rina Ogawa, you are the CEO of a consulting company focusing on digital marketing. What exactly do you do?

Ogawa: I call myself a hyper-yorozuya, and my motto is “I do everything”. My main job is to support those who are working in the digital field. For example, I do everything from SNS management to e-commerce site design.

Takano (MC): We heard a rumor that you are doing something related to fragrance as your life’s work in addition to your job.

Ogawa: Recently, there are services such as personal make-up and color diagnosis, and also stylists who come shopping with you and help you choose clothes. What I am doing is a fragrance version of that. When you buy perfume, the sales clerk selects a fragrance based on what you are currently wearing or what you like to smell like. In my case, this service allows me to smell the person’s skin and suggest scents that would suit them.

Celeina:When I heard about this service, it was an eye-opener. You don’t know the scent of your own skin by yourself, so it’s important to have someone else coordinate it for you.

Ogawa:You may know what fragrance you like, but when it comes to a scent that suits you, it’s hard to know for yourself. The fragrance that suits you is completely different from the one you smell the moment you put it on your skin.

Takano: I had never thought about it. What prompted you to start this service?

Ogawa: I have a friend who has a lot of essential oils, and we were experimenting with different essential oils just for fun. As I did so, I began to get a sense of what scents might suit her and what might not, so I blended essential oils and gave them to her as gifts, and she was very pleased. I thought, “This could be good,” and as I continued to do it, people around me started spreading the word that they could make it for me.

The two MCs are Baby Scent and Nothing Scent.

Celeina:Do you also know which fragrances suit us?

Ogawa: Of course! I have to smell your skin a little bit. (haha)

Celeina: Please do!

Takano: Ms.Celeina held out her hand with a prepared expression.

Celeina: Oh no, I’m getting nervous.

Ogawa: Ms.Celeina smells like baby powder that babies put on. I think you probably put on musk perfume now.

Celeina:Yes, I am.

Ogawa: But Celeina’s earthy scent is baby.

Celeina: What, really?

Takano: So it’s a baby scent. (haha)

Ogawa: But it also has a slightly Japanese aroma. From powdery, it also has a little Japanese aroma. I think a perfume like the scent of a temple, or a weighty, calm fragrance, would suit you.

Takano: Wow!

Celeina: I usually tend to wear Western-style perfumes, so I haven’t chosen such perfumes very often.

Ogawa: It’s not a gorgeous scent, but more like snow. I think a quieter perfume would suit you better.

Celeina: I used to choose gorgeous perfumes. By the way, perfumes have middle notes and last notes, but what should I choose?

Ogawa:You should probably not worry too much about that and choose by feel. However, if there is something musky or woody in it, I think it would be good.

Takano: Ms. Ogawa, it seems like you could make this scent selection service your main business, though. There is a demand for it in the world!

Celeina: Mr.Takano, please take a look at the diagnosis.

Takano: Yes. I am very excited.

Ogawa: It’s an interesting smell.

Takano: What, did you smell it a little? (haha).

Ogawa:On the contrary, it is nothing. It has a very clear and transparent scent. Therefore, I think that interesting or strong scents, such as those made by fashion brands, that make people say, “ Is this fragrance supposed to be worn on the skin?” are suitable. That kind of scent can mix with the smell of skin, and when it gets warm, it’s quite “oh”.Mr.Takano’s scent doesn’t have a warmth to it. It’s very interesting.

Takano: You mean you don’t have a human touch? I wonder if I am okay.

Celeina: I see. So, Mr. Takano, you also suit fancy fragrances.

Ogawa: I think they suit me! Just like wearing clothes, the kind of fragrance that makes people around you ask, “What are you wearing? “.

Takano: I think I’ll stop by Isetan on my way home and buy a strong perfume. (haha)

Celeina: I would like to play a piece of music here, and I asked Rina to choose a song that she would like to listen to with everyone on the radio at this time. What song would it be?

Ogawa: I have Beyonce in my heart.

Takano: Oh!

Ogawa: I have loved Destiny’s Child since I was in junior high school, and I have been listening to it on my way to school to survive, so I have Beyonce in my heart. That’s why I chose this song for today. “Run The World (Girls)” by Beyonce.
