The second wave of performers for GMO SONIC 2025, taking place at Saitama Super Arena on January 25 (Sat) and January 26 (Sun), 2025, has been announced, featuring Skrillex, Martin Garrix, and Metro Boomin.
Organized by GMO Internet Group and Creativeman—the team behind SUMMER SONIC—this festival, launched in 2023, showcases top artists from the global and domestic dance music scene. A distinctive aspect of the event is its integration of Japanese culture with entertainment, incorporating “Wa” (harmony) into its stage designs and performances.
Joining Anyma, who was previously confirmed, Skrillex will perform on January 25 (Sat). A nine-time Grammy-winning producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter, Skrillex continues to lead the electronic music scene. On January 26 (Sun), Martin Garrix, crowned No. 1 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2024 for the fifth time, will take the stage as one of the world’s leading DJs and producers. Also performing on the same day is Metro Boomin, a central figure in trap music known for producing hits like Migos’ “Bad and Boujee ft. Lil Uzi Vert” and Future’s “Mask Off.”
