The final lineup of artists for the new international music festival rockin’ on sonic has been announced. The event will take place at Chiba’s Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall on January 4 (Saturday) and 5 (Sunday), 2025.
Organized by Rockin’ On Japan, the company behind ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, and with Creative Man handling artist invitations and event production, the festival promises a stellar lineup.
The newly announced final artists are shoegaze pioneers The Jesus and Mary Chain and German electronic duo DIGITALISM. With previously announced acts like PULP, WEEZER, Manic Street Preachers, The Lemon Twigs, St. Vincent, Jimmy Eat World, and Cigarettes After Sex, the full lineup of 16 acts is now complete.
The venue will feature two stages, the “GALAXY STAGE” and the “COSMO STAGE,” with a schedule designed to avoid overlapping performance times for the artists. Tickets are currently on sale to the general public.
