The “PARCO Cultural Festival,” presented by Mirai Moriyama and Hitoshi Ōne, will be held at PARCO Theater in Shibuya, Tokyo, from Friday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17.
This festival is part of Shibuya PARCO’s 5th anniversary celebration since its reopening and features a mix of performances, including comedy, sketches, talks, dance, and live music. Special guests, including musicians, actors, and comedians who have worked with Moriyama and Ōne both on and off screen, will participate.
The lineup includes:
- November 15 (Fri): New York, Kenta Maeno, Perfume’s A~chan, EGO-WRAPPIN’
- November 16 (Sat): Daw 90000, Yuga, Eiko Koike, Cornelius
- November 17 (Sun): Hakuzan Kanda, Ayano Kaneko, Lily Franky, Sairi Ito, ZAZEN BOYS
Additionally, each day of the festival will kick off with a dance performance by Mirai Moriyama alongside dancers Mayumu Minagawa and Ryushi Sasamoto. The performance will be set to music arranged by Hirotaka Shirotsubaki, based on a track Cornelius originally composed as the background music for Shibuya PARCO’s reopening.
In celebration of the festival, Moriyama and Ōne shared their comments:
“It’s been 55 years since the opening of the first PARCO in Ikebukuro, and 25 years since my debut work, BOYS TIME, was staged at Shibuya PARCO Theater. Over the years, I’ve had various connections with PARCO, and now it’s already been five years since the Shibuya PARCO reopened. I’m thrilled to be producing the PARCO Cultural Festival together with Hitoshi Ōne, someone I’ve worked with frequently. We’ve curated a lineup full of people we’re connected to, or those we haven’t collaborated with yet but want to, so don’t miss out!”

Fashion, art, theater, advertising, books, photo collections, manga, music—when I was a teenager, PARCO had all of that packed into it. The people who gathered at PARCO weren’t just there to shop; they were there for something more. Now, Moriyama and I, with our love for PARCO and excitement for its future, have decided to throw a POP, chaotic, and eclectic cultural festival. Honestly, we want PARCO to keep being a cool cultural hub!
