PARCO has unveiled the details of its collaborative project for the “HAPPY HOLIDAYS Campaign.”
As part of the special project celebrating PARCO’s 55th anniversary, the campaign’s advertisement features a photograph of Haruomi Hosono, who is also celebrating his 55th year in music, along with symbolic motifs and characters created by internationally acclaimed artist Keiichi Tanaami. The project is directed by Naohiro Ukawa, Tanaami’s most devoted protégé, who continues his mentor’s vision, resulting in a “historical mandala” design.
In a related campaign across all PARCO locations, customers who make purchases totaling 4,000 yen or more within the store from December 20 (Friday) to 22 (Sunday) will receive an original novelty item featuring the advertisement’s visuals. Additionally, from December 13 (Friday) to 25 (Wednesday), holiday songs selected by Haruomi Hosono for the campaign will be played as background music in the stores. The playlist curated by Hosono is also available on Spotify for a limited time until December 31 (Tuesday).
From December 13 (Friday) to 25 (Wednesday), the “55th HOSONO HARUOMI POP-UP SHOP” will be held on the third floor of Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo, with a collaborative menu with Haruomi Hosono available at the music cafe and bar, Quattro Lab, on the basement floor.
The POP-UP SHOP, which will feature a video exhibition of Hosono, will sell apparel products using the cover art of HOSONO HOUSE COVERS, created by artist Tomoo Gokita, as well as goods inspired by the fictional rental video shop “HOSONO VIDEO HOUSE.” The “HOSONO VIDEO HOUSE” merchandise is produced by Kakubarhythm and stylist Daisuke Iga.
The collaborative menu offered at Quattro Lab includes three special versions of sandwiches chosen by Hosono (katsu, egg, and ham), hot dogs, and double cappuccinos. Customers who order from the collaborative menu will receive a sticker featuring the campaign poster as a gift.
