A live show featuring the debut collaboration between Dos Monos and Haru Nemuri is set for November 11th (Monday) at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo.
This event is the latest in WWW’s two-man series, dots, showcasing two groups actively expanding their international presence through overseas tours and European performances.
Dos Monos is a rap trio consisting of Sōshi It, TaiTan, and Bot aka NGS. They announced their contract with the US label Deathbomb Arc in 2018 and released their debut album, “Dos City,” in March 2019. Their collaborations have spanned genres, working with UK rock band black midi, US hip-hop crew Injury Reserve, as well as Taiwan’s former Minister of Digital Affairs Audrey Tang, writer Yassutaka Tsutsui, and manga artist Ballad Kit. After a successful European tour with black midi in October 2022 and their solo European tour in summer 2023, Dos Monos concluded their first phase of activities. In 2024, they announced the beginning of a new phase, releasing their original album “Dos Atomos” in May after a three-year hiatus.
Haru Nemuri is a singer-songwriter, poetry rapper, and producer from Yokohama, responsible for all the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of her songs. She released her debut full-length album, “Spring and Asura,” in April 2018. In 2019, she performed at rock festivals in Malaysia and Taiwan and held a tour covering five Asian locations: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, and Japan. Additionally, she appeared at the major Spanish festival Primavera Sound and undertook a European tour with 15 shows across six countries. Continuing her international presence, she released her latest album, “INSAINT,” in 2023 and toured Europe, Thailand, New Zealand, and Australia. In 2024, she plans to hold her first domestic tour in six years from August to September, covering Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, as well as a U.S. tour with six shows in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Brooklyn, and Chicago.
The artwork for the flyer was drawn by Yosuke Kitagawa and designed by Taiki Okuyama, based on inspiration from the music of Dos Monos and Haru Nemuri.
