At the National Art Center in Roppongi, Tokyo, from July 3rd (Wednesday) to September 23rd (Monday, holiday), CLAMP’s original art exhibition “CLAMP Exhibition” will feature two new exhibit areas, “IMAGINATION” and “DREAM,” following the previously announced areas “C,” “L,” “A,” “M,” and “P.”
The “IMAGINATION” area traces the history of CLAMP’s 35-year career, including his creative activities outside of manga. Visitors will be able to unravel the history of CLAMP’s creative activities through the display of a variety of related materials, including books, magazines, and character setting materials.
In the “DREAM” area, the final part of the “CLAMP Exhibition,” new color illustrations drawn by CLAMP for the exhibition will be on display.
The audio guide explaining the exhibition will be provided by Jun Fukuyama, who is closely associated with CLAMP as Kimihiro April 1st in “xxxHOLiC”, Torataro Kobayashi in “ANGELIC LAYER”, and Lelouch Lamperouge in “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion”. The audio guide will include a bonus track.
During the exhibition period, collaboration menus will be offered at cafes and restaurants in the National Art Center, Tokyo, and collaboration rooms will be available for a limited time at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. Details will be announced on the official website.
