J-WAVE presents INSPIRE TOKYO 2024 -Best Music & Market-“, an urban culture festival to be held from July 13 (Sat.) to 15 (Mon.) at Yoyogi Park Event Plaza Zelkova Namiki and Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo. The first batch of performers has been announced.
“INSPIRE TOKYO” is an upgraded version of “J-WAVE LIVE,” a live event that J-WAVE has been holding since 2000, as an urban culture festival with a food area and market that can be enjoyed only in Tokyo. The third summer event in 2024 will be held under the theme of “TOKYO POP CULTURE TO THE WORLD! The latest announcement is the lineup of performers for the live music event to be held at the Yoyogi Daiichi Gymnasium, which will be called “LIVE FIELD. On July 14 (Sun.), the second day of the event, there will be Ryuji Imaichi, who will celebrate his 10th year as a J-WAVE navigator in 2024, Yohbun, who also appeared in “INSPIRE TOKYO 2023 WINTER MUSICLICK LIVE” and is currently appearing in “J-WAVE INSPIRE TOKYO” continuously. Nulbarich, who has announced that they will be on hiatus until the end of 2024, Chilli Beans, who was in charge of navigating the “SONARS ROOM” corner in the J-WAVE program “SONAR’S ROOM,” and Utaha, navigator of the regular program “MASSIVE HISTORIA,” which started in April. Wednesday’s Campanella will perform.
On the final day, July 15 (Monday, national holiday), dance and vocal group BE:FIRST, who navigates the program “Amazon Music MILLION BILLION” broadcast on J-WAVE every Saturday from 5 p.m., and rock band UVERworld will hold a two-man live performance.
