The first artists for “FESTIVAL FRUEZINHO 2024” (FESTIVAL FRUEZINHO 2024), which will be held on Saturday, July 6 at Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo, have been announced.
The event is a spin-off of the “FESTIVAL de FRUE” festival held in Kakegawa, Shizuoka, and is held around the summer solstice. It is characterized by a free environment that is not as harsh as a “festival” and not as rigid as a “concert.
The three groups announced this time are vibraphonist Mulatu Astatke, Yuta Orisaka (band), and the project “wave²” by percussionist Manami Kakudo and dancer Kaho Kogure. The remaining two artists are scheduled to be announced around the end of March.
Tickets for the “FESTIVAL FRUEZINHO 2024” event are now on sale at the “FRUE SHOP. Applications to open a booth in the “Mercado FRUE” space, which is open to non-ticket holders, will be accepted until April 15 (Mon.) via a dedicated form.
