Born in Yokohama in 1982, he graduated from Waseda University's Faculty of Letters I in 2006 with a specialization in theater and film. After working in the editorial department of Asahi Shimbun Marion, he started his career as an editorial writer focusing on music and movies in 2011, and launched the chartered document site "HEATHAZE" in 2013. In recent years, he has conducted numerous interviews for such publications as Kosho Kohichi, SPUR, and DIME.
