The live event ” J-WAVE TOKYO GUITAR JAMBOREE 2024 supported by Okumura-gumi ” will be held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, on March 2 (Sat) and 3 (Sun), 2024.
The event, which features live guitar performances by artists, was launched in 2013 under the auspices of J-WAVE. The event features a center stage that resembles a ring, surrounded by audience seats, cherry blossom decorations to enjoy the “hanami” (cherry blossom viewing) atmosphere, and food such as chanko and yakitori (grilled chicken), which are unique to Ryogoku Kokugikan.
An audition project, “New Apprentice Inspection,” will also be held. The audition is open to junior high school students and older who can sing and play the acoustic guitar, and the winner of the grand prix will be able to perform on the “ring stage” of the Ryogoku Kokugikan on the day of the event during the intermission.
