Ado’s “Kira,” the official song for Japan’s 2026 national football team kit campaign, took over 16 giant screens at Tokyo’s Shibuya Scramble Crossing on June 14.
The video featured footage from Ado’s performance at Los Angeles music festival Zipangu, alongside appearances by Japan international Takefusa Kubo, who shared his hopes for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The clip was released simultaneously on adidas’ social channels and Ado’s official YouTube channel.
Created in partnership with adidas as part of its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign, “Kira” was written, composed, and arranged by Tatsuya Kitani. The song’s title references beautifully crafted garments, echoing the concept behind Japan’s new national team kit.
adidas is also currently hosting its limited-time football experience, adidas PLAY FREE PARK, at Tokyo’s MIYASHITA PARK through June 28.
