Ado has dropped her new single “Kira,” released digitally on April 22.
The track features in adidas’s latest campaign for the Japan national team’s 2026 football kit, “Beyond, further. More freely,” which began airing on April 9. Created in collaboration with adidas—who also serve as a creative partner on the uniform—the song was written, composed, and arranged by Tatsuya Kitani.
“Kira,” meaning “beautiful garments,” ties directly into the campaign’s concept, reflecting a sense of unity between players, fans, and supporters through the shared identity of the kit.
An official audio version has been released alongside the track, with drums performed by Joe Sato and all other instrumentation handled by Kitani.
A music video directed by YORUGATA is set to premiere on April 27.
