The legendary New York-born party Body&SOUL will be making its return to Japan with Manhattan Portage presents Body&SOUL Live in Japan 2025, set to take place on Sunday, June 8, at Kirana Garden Toyosu in Tokyo.
Originally launched in 1996 in New York, Body&SOUL has built a global reputation for its unique musical experience. Since its debut in Japan in 2002, the event has been hosted at a variety of iconic venues, including velfarre and ageHa, as well as non-traditional spaces like Ryogoku Kokugikan and Harumi Passenger Terminal.
The party is known for its distinctive DJ format, where resident DJs François K., Danny Krivit, and Joaquin “Joe” Claussell take turns playing tracks in a seamless back-to-back set. This dynamic approach has created an immersive atmosphere where audiences can rediscover the essence of music. Loved across generations, Body&SOUL continues to attract a dedicated following, offering a timeless and unparalleled dance music experience.
After a five-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Body&SOUL returned in 2023 at Kirana Garden Toyosu, where it will once again take place in 2025. Overlooking Tokyo Bay and the Rainbow Bridge, the seaside venue provides a picturesque backdrop for the renowned event. In addition to world-class music, attendees can enjoy a diverse selection of food offerings, a signature feature of the festival. A dedicated kids’ area, coordinated by SMILE KIDS GROUP, will also be available, making the event accessible to families. Supported by New York-based brand Manhattan Portage, Body&SOUL continues to bring its celebrated atmosphere to Japan.
