The outdoor dance music festival Rainbow Disco Club 2025 is set to take place from April 18 (Friday) to April 20 (Sunday) at the Higashi-Izu Cross Country Course in Shizuoka Prefecture. Now in its 16th year, the festival continues to bring a world-class lineup of electronic and dance music artists to Japan.
This year’s edition will feature a special five-hour set from UK acid jazz legend Gilles Peterson, marking a highlight of the festival. Also joining the lineup are Ron Trent, a key figure in Chicago house music, Kode9, the founder of the influential UK electronic music label Hyperdub, and Palms Trax, one of the most exciting DJs and producers in today’s dance music scene. In total, 18 artists have been announced, promising an electrifying weekend of music in the scenic outdoor setting of Higashi-Izu.
Tickets are available on the special event website, including a Category 8 General Admission Pass (¥27,000) and a Pass for Attendees Aged 23 and Under (¥17,000), with additional fees applicable. A official playlist featuring tracks from the performing artists is also available on Spotify.
