The final lineup for the urban music festival SHIN-ONSAI 2024 -the Circuit- has been revealed, scheduled for November 30 (Saturday) in the Shinjuku and Kabukicho areas.
Since its launch in 2018, SHIN-ONSAI has aimed to highlight the allure of Shinjuku and offer meaningful cultural experiences to the community. In 2024, due to the long-term closure of its main venue, the Shinjuku Cultural Center, the festival will adopt a circuit format, taking place across five live houses in Kabukicho: Shinjuku LOFT, Shinjuku MARZ, Shinjuku FACE, Shinjuku PIT INN, and Kabukicho Cinecity Square.
Newly announced performers include Ikuko Harada, Mahito The People, Reitaro Kimyo, HIMI, Yashiro, Takuro Okada (with Keisuke Matsumaru, Hiroki Chiba, and Tatsuhiro Yamamoto), Shota Aratani, Yuragi, Katsuyoshi Kimura, and Isolation Music Trio (Hiroki Chiba, Koichi Sato, and Tatsuhiro Yamamoto), totaling ten acts. Additionally, five “Coming Up Artists” have been added: QPLO, Merlion, Equator, Mizunami Tsukina, and BOARDWALK, bringing the total to 15 acts.
The previously announced lineup features 18 artists, including Takkyu Ishino, eastern youth, Keiichi Sokabe, Kenta Maeno, Soshi Sakiyama, Oozora Kimishima, Oni no Migiude, MUSIC FROM THE MARS, MONO NO AWARE, Pasocom Music Club, Gestalt Otome, and Fuki Kitamura. In total, the festival will showcase 33 acts. Performance stages and schedules for each artist will be announced later.
Pre-sale tickets are available until October 2 (Wednesday) at 11:59 PM, with general sales starting on October 5 (Saturday) at 12 PM. Attendees can present their wristbands at participating restaurants, including CoCo Ichibanya Shinjuku Kabukicho, for discounts and drink services on the day of the event.
