The urban music festival “SHIN-ONSAI 2024 -the Circuit-” will take place on November 30 (Saturday) in Tokyo’s Kabukicho area. The event will span four live houses—Shinjuku LOFT, Shinjuku MARZ, Shinjuku FACE, and Shinjuku PIT INN—as well as Kabukicho Cine City Plaza. The first wave of performers has also been announced.
Since its inception in 2018, “SHIN-ONSAI” has been a platform for Shinjuku Ward to showcase its local charm and provide meaningful cultural experiences. In 2024, the festival will adapt to the long-term closure of its main venue, the Shinjuku Bunka Center, by offering a circuit-style event across five venues in the Kabukicho area.
The first lineup announcement includes Takkyu Ishino, eastern youth, Keiichi Sokabe, Kenta Maeno, Aoshi Saki, Ozora Kimishima, MONO NO AWARE, PC Music Club, Gestalt Otome, and Fuki Kitamura, among 18 acts in total. Approximately 30 acts are expected to perform, with the final timetable and venue details to be announced later.
Tickets for “SHIN-ONSAI 2024 -the Circuit-” are available through a pre-sale lottery on Ticket Pia, running from 12:00 PM on August 28 (Wednesday) to September 8 (Sunday).
