Dyson has introduced its “Dyson OnTrac” headphones to the Japanese market.
Following the 2023 launch of the “Dyson Zone” air-purifying headphones, “Dyson OnTrac” is the company’s first product focused solely on audio. It features an advanced active noise cancellation system with eight microphones, capable of reducing noise by up to 40dB. Equipped with neodymium speakers and advanced audio processing, it delivers sound across a wide frequency range of 6Hz to 21kHz.
Designed with both comfort and noise isolation in mind, the headphones feature ultra-soft microfiber ear cushions and high-resilience foam padding, along with multi-pivot gimbal arms to minimize ear pressure. In 2024, it received US Ergonomics certification.
Available in four colors—CNC Aluminum, CNC Copper, Ceramic Cinnabar, and CNC Black Nickel—users can also customize the headphones with seven different outer caps and ear cushion color options.
By registering the headphones on the “MyDyson” app, users can personalize sound settings, including equalizer adjustments and noise cancellation. The app also provides real-time monitoring of surrounding sound levels and alerts users when harmful noise levels are detected.
Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer, also shared a statement to commemorate the Japan launch.

The Dyson OnTrac headphones are available for a limited-time pre-sale at Dyson’s official online store, ESTNATION locations nationwide, BEAMS Harajuku, BEAMS MEN SHIBUYA, GR8 select shop in Harajuku, Tokyo, and SELECT by BAYCREW’S. Starting from Friday, October 18, the headphones will be gradually released at major electronics retailers across Japan.
