Shota Aratani will make his major label debut with Universal Music/Polydor Records and will release his first single, “Ame”, on August 23 (Fri.).
Aratani has been active as the vocalist of yonawo until 2023, and has released three singles as a solo artist since 2024: “Tears”, “Ai Kotoba”, and “Shion”. Aratani has released three singles, “Tears,” “Ai Kotoba,” and “Shion. The new song “Ame” is a challenging song with jazzy sound with impressive brass and piano and stimulating lyrics. Pre-add / Pre-save of the song has started on Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music, and a teaser video shot in Taiwan has also been released.
A comment from Aratani on his major label debut has also been released. In October, Aratani will hold his first solo tour as a solo artist with a band, “Shota Aratani 1st ONE MAN LIVE TOUR “26””. The tour will visit five major cities: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Sapporo, with tickets on general sale from July 18 (Thu.).
