Yuki Chiba’s Team Tomodachi Shot Live Announced for “POP YOURS”

“YUKI CHIBA -Team Friend Shot Live-” has been announced as the final lineup for “POP YOURS,” which will be held on May 18 (Sat.) and 19 (Sun.) at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall 9-11 in Chiba, Japan.

“POP YOURS” is one of the largest hip-hop festivals in Japan, which will be held for the third time under the theme of “hip-hop as pop culture of the 2020s. It has been streamed live on YouTube since the first edition, and recorded approximately 260,000 viewers in 2022 and 370,000 viewers in 2023.

Yugi Chiba retired from KOHH at the end of 2021, and suddenly distributed “Team Tomodachi” in February 2024; the music video has been viewed more than 6 million times to date, and the remixed version and related videos are also creating a big movement by creating a buzz. On May 2 (Thu), Chiba released “Team Tomodachi The Remixes,” an album of remixes created by Chiba and other artists from Japan and abroad.

The final timetable of 43 groups has also been released. Yugi Chiba – Team Tomodachi Shot Live” is scheduled to perform on Sunday the 19th from 17:40, and Jin Dogg, who participates in “Dirty Kansai Remix,” will take the stage just before the show.

Tickets for the “POP YOURS” venue are sold out. Both days will be streamed live on YouTube.
