The first broadcast of the TV anime ‘Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc’ will be on Sunday, May 12, at 11:15 p.m.
Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ returns to the big screen with its fifth installment, the ‘Hashira Training Arc.’ The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family killed by demons and to turn his sister, Nezuko, who has become a demon, back into a human. In preparation for the battle against the demon Kibutsuji Muzan, known as the “Master of Demons,” Tanjiro undergoes rigorous training with the elite members of the Demon Slayer Corps known as the “Hashira.” The animation is once again handled by ufotable, and the first episode will air as a one-hour special on the Fuji Television network nationwide. Along with the announcement, the first promotional video and key visual for the “Hashira Training Arc” have been released.
The promotional video (PV) also features the opening theme song “Yumengen” by MY FIRST STORY × HYDE, with artist photos and comment videos being simultaneously released. The comment videos can be viewed on the official ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’ X (former Twitter) account, as well as during the ‘Demon Slayer TV – Hashira Training Arc New Information Announcement SP,’ which aired on March 9th (Saturday) starting from 27 minutes in.
Prior to the broadcast of the ‘Hashira Training Arc,’ a special edited version of the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc’ will also be aired on May 4th (Saturday) and 5th (Sunday). The broadcast decision footage has also been announced.

Furthermore, overseas additional stage greetings for the ‘World Tour Screening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Miracle Bonds and Hashira Training,’ featuring Episode 11 of the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc” and Episode 1 of the “Hashira Training Arc,’ have been confirmed. On March 30th (Saturday), Natsuki Hanae, who voices Tanjiro Kamado, and Daisuke Namikawa, who voices Hotaru Haganezuka, will appear in Bangkok, Thailand. On April 20th (Saturday), Natsuki Hanae and Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi will take the stage in Mumbai, India. The third commercial featuring the opening theme “Yumengen” has also been unveiled.
Furthermore, new information about related events has been simultaneously unveiled. The ufotable-drawn key visual for the ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Orchestra Concert Swordsmith Village Arc,’ scheduled to be held at Tokyo Garden Theater in Ariake, Tokyo on May 18th (Saturday), has been released.

The ‘Demon Slayer Banquet -Swordsmith Village Arc-‘ event held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on March 9th (Saturday) has decided to sell online streaming tickets.
Additionally, it has been announced that in 2024, there will be an exhibition called “Complete Collection Exhibition,” where visitors can look back on both the ‘Swordsmith Village Arc’ and the ‘Hashira Training Arc.’ The exhibition will kick off at Matsuya Ginza in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, before touring various locations across Japan. Further details for each event will be announced on their respective official websites at a later date.
