ROTH BART BARON has announced the “Closer” Remix Contest,” and has begun accepting submissions for remixes.
“Closer” is the most danceable song from the band’s eighth and latest album “8,” released in October. The contest is open to anyone who wants to remix the song and download the song data on the contest’s special page. The contest is open to anyone who uploads their song to SouncCloud or YouTube with the hashtag “#rbbremix”. and Masaya Mifune of ROTH BART BARON has also commented on the contest.
When I asked Rostam to remix my music, and when I asked him to make a new UK-Mix in London, I had a strange and very exciting feeling of having a session with one piece of music. I think it might be a really pure curiosity of one’s music to take a piece of music that someone else has made and take it apart and put it back together again.
Masaya Mifune Comment
So anything goes. Freely if you can feel something, let’s play with music together.
