Keiichi Sokabe Simultaneously Releases Two Albums: One Vocal and One Rap

Keiichi Sokabe released two albums simultaneously on Wednesday, November 29.

Apart from the previously announced “Hazard of Love” album, Sokabe introduces his first hip-hop album in five years, titled “Heaven 2.” This release will showcase a diverse blend of singing and rapping styles. “Hazard of Love” encompasses 10 tracks inspired by the artist’s daily experiences. “Heaven 2” serves as a follow-up to the 2018 release “Heaven” and features Sogabe’s distinctive mellow flow fused with sampling-driven textures. Sogabe shared his thoughts on the upcoming release.

A vocal album and rap album are on the horizon, each brimming with tunes I’ve longed to sing and felt compelled to share. Amidst the drab clouds enveloping the world, I yearn to navigate freely, uncertain of what lies beyond that horizon—hoping for a serendipitous encounter with you there! On November 26 (Sun.), “Metamorphose Love,” the opening track of “Hazard of Love,” will be distributed as an advance single, and a music video directed and starring Sogabe himself will also be released. From the same album, “Maru.” and “Tatakae to Fate,” the third song from the album to be distributed and released as an advance single, and its music video directed and directed by Sogabe himself.

Both albums will be released in three formats: digital, LP, and CD. The CD of “Hazard of Love” will be released in late December, and the LP and CD release date of “Heaven 2” will be announced later.
