Keiichi Sokabe’s live albums, “Sentimental Summer” and “Songs Sung After Lovers Have Fallen Asleep,” were both released digitally on September 16 by ROSE RECORDS.
“Sentimental Summer” is a recording of a live performance held in August at Umeda’s Musica Japonica in Osaka. The album, recorded with an iPhone, includes not only solo tracks but also songs by Sunny Day Service, such as “Summer Soldier” and “To the Coast.” An analog vinyl release is also planned.
On the other hand, “Songs Sung After Lovers Have Fallen Asleep” was initially released in April 2022 as a vinyl-only album. It features a line recording of a solo live performance held in February 2022 at Shimokitazawa 440 in Tokyo. The album consists of songs that reflect Sokabe’s personal life.
