The second cast and first cut of the movie “Ikoku Nikki” starring Yui Aragaki, which will be released in 2024, have been released.
The film is based on the manga of the same title by Tomoko Yamashita. Directed by Natsuki Seta , the film depicts how to relate to others and the honest concerns of adults, centering on the lives of a shy novelist, Makio Kodai, and her friendly niece, Asa Takumi.
In addition to Yui Aragaki playing the role of Makio Kodai, the second cast of the film will include Ikoi Hayase as Asa Takumi, Kaho as Nana Daigo, Maki’s friend, Kouji Seto as Shingo Kasamachi, Maki’s former lover, and Rina Komiyama as Emiri Nara, Asa’s best friend.
The first cut of Makio Kodai (played by Yui Aragaki) and Asa Takumi (played by Ikoi Hayase) walking along the beach, staring off into the distance, was also released.
