imase has opened official accounts on Weibo (微博), douyin (抖音), and bilibili.
The first post on these accounts was made at 21:00 Japan time on Wednesday, November 8. On douyin and bilibili, imase sang a part of “Night Dancer” a cappella and posted a video of himself celebrating the opening of his account in Chinese; on Weibo, he wrote, “I’m 22 years old! (I’m almost 23!) (I’m about to turn 23!),” she holds up a sketchbook with the words “22 years old!
The opening of the account was supported by SaltSweeet, a company that works with artists and brands to expand into China. The company has managed Chinese SNS accounts for artists such as Minako Uno (AAA), Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and Yuko Sugamoto (Yuko Koso), and has produced content for China.
