imase will release “I say bye” on September 14 (Thu).
imase, a Gifu-born 22 year old artist, made his major label debut in December 2021 and has become a viral hit on TikTok within a year since he embarked on his music career. In 2022, he was chosen as the theme song for a TV commercial and series, resulting in gaining popularity mainly among teenagers.
“I say bye” was posted on TikTok in February last year as a short version, and more than 3,000 UGC videos were created by the general public. The full-length version was performed at an online live concert held at the end of last year and at an audience live concert held in March of this year, but this is the first time the song has been made into a soundtrack.
The cover photo was released on September 1, and Apple Music pre-add and Spotify pre-save have started.
