ROMY’s Japan tour “CLUB MID AIR” will be held at The Garden Hall in Ebisu, Tokyo, on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
In addition to releasing three albums with The xx, ROMY is a producer, songwriter, and DJ whose first solo album, “Mid Air,” was released in September 2023 to much fanfare. Produced by Fred Again and Stuart Price, the album is about the dance floor as a place of blessing, sanctuary, and salvation.
The band performed DJ-style at the “FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL” in 2023, but this time they will perform a set incorporating live music during their Japan tour. The flyer released to the public includes the words “DANCE WITH ME SHOULDER TO SHOULDER. Official advance reservations for tickets are being accepted until October 22 (Sun.) by lottery.
