GRAPEVINE released the album “Almost there” on Wednesday, September 27.
The album, the first in two years and four months since their last album “Atarashii Kajitsu,” contains 11 songs, including “Little Sparrow,” which was previously released in July, and “Ub (You bet on it),” which was previously released in August. In addition to the standard CD, there will be a limited first edition with a DVD containing live studio footage, and a VICTOR ONLINE STORE limited set with a T-shirt.
A lyric video for “In a Black Out,” one of the songs on the album, was released along with the album release. The lyric video was directed by Takumi Shiga (CAVIAR ), who also directed the videos for the two previously released songs, and features a beautiful nightscape projected to the melody.
On the occasion of the album release, a commemorative panel display will be held at Tower Records Shibuya and four other stores, and GRAPEVINE will hold the “GRAPEVINE TOUR 2023” starting on October 8 (Sun.), touring nine cities throughout Japan.
