New York-based hyperpop artist gabby start embarks on its Japan debut with the Japanese artists Peterparker69, and PAS TASTA for “they/them” at Shibuya’s WWW on September 2.
Known for its collaboration with “underscores,” gabby start is one of the most popular hyperpop artists, and its activities under the name Knapsack. For its first visit to Japan, gabby start will be joined by Peterparker69, whose first single “Flight to Mumbai” was featured in an Apple commercial, and six sound geeks from the J-POP project Sakiyama PAS TASTA, whose collaborations with Aoshi Sakiyama and Peanut-kun have been the talk of the town, will also perform. This will be a rare three-man show.
