The Netflix series Straight To Hell premiered worldwide on April 27, accompanied by the release of new stills and a character relationship chart.
The drama traces the life of controversial fortune teller Kazuko Hosoki, whose “Rokusei Senjutsu” and viral catchphrases once fueled a nationwide boom. Erika Toda stars in the lead role, with Sairi Ito playing a writer commissioned to document her life. Directed by Tomoyuki Takimoto and Katsunori Oba, the series depicts a turbulent rise shaped by ambition, power, and obsession, set against the shifting eras of Showa and Heisei Japan.
A character chart mapping the key figures surrounding Hosoki was also released, with a cast that includes Toma Ikuta, Eita Okuno, Kentaro Tamura, Ayumu Nakajima, Tetta Sugimoto, and Touko Miura. Newly released stills highlight a striking contrast between Hosoki in lavish attire and the writer facing her in a tailored suit.
The original soundtrack by pianist and composer Hibiki Inamoto was also released on April 27, including a track featuring Erika Toda’s distinctive laughter.
