The first wave of artists has been revealed for “SONICMANIA”, set to take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.
“SONICMANIA” serves as the pre-party event for “SUMMER SONIC 2025”, which will be held on August 16-17, 2025, at ZOZO Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Chiba, and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Suita, Osaka. The event, which is a prelude to the larger SUMMER SONIC festival, will focus on electronic music and be held all night long. The event is popularly abbreviated as “SONICMANIA”, following the trend of SUMMER SONIC.
The first lineup for “SONICMANIA” includes internationally renowned acts such as THE PRODIGY, Gesaffelstein, Floating Points, Tohji, and 2HOLLIS. Notably, THE PRODIGY will also perform at SUMMER SONIC in Tokyo (Chiba), while Gesaffelstein is confirmed for the Osaka performance.
Tickets for “SONICMANIA” will go on sale starting with the “Creative Man member presale” on Thursday, March 27, followed by the official presale on Tuesday, April 1. General sales will begin on Saturday, May 24.
