Summer Sonic & Sonic Mania Streaming Schedule Unveiled: Måneskin, Sakanaction, and More

The complete lineup of artists streaming on WOWOW On-Demand for “SUMMER SONIC 2024” and “SONICMANIA” has been finalized, along with the release of the three-day timetable.

“Summer Sonic” will be held simultaneously on August 17th (Sat) and 18th (Sun) at ZOZO Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe in Chiba (Tokyo venue) and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park in Suita (Osaka venue). “Sonic Mania,” serving as a pre-party, will be held all night starting on August 16th (Fri) at Makuhari Messe. The Tokyo performances of “Summer Sonic” over two days, as well as “Sonic Mania,” will be exclusively streamed live on WOWOW On-Demand. Previously announced acts include Atarashii Gakko no Leaders, Creepy Nuts, UNDERWORLD, GLAY, and Nia Archives.

In the latest announcement, additional artists have been confirmed for live streaming. From “Sonic Mania,” performers like Sakanaction, PHOENIX, ARCA, and Yuki Chiba will join, while from “Summer Sonic,” headliners MÅNESKIN, Madison Beer, Lil Yachty, and Tyla are among the 14 newly added acts. The live stream for “Sonic Mania” will begin at 8:30 PM, while “Summer Sonic” will start at 11:00 AM on both days, delivering a total of 75 performances over three days.

Furthermore, the “Sonic Mania” official website announced that refunds will be provided after the event for those unable to attend or who decided not to attend due to the impact of Typhoon No. 7. Refunds will cover the face value of the tickets only. At present, there are no cancellations of performers for “Sonic Mania,” and preparations at the venue are proceeding as planned. The Keiyo Line, which stops at Kaihimmakuhari Station near the venue, is expected to operate with reduced service.
