The timetable for “SYNCHRONICITY’25 – 20th Anniversary!!”, set to take place on April 12 (Sat) and April 13 (Sun) in Shibuya, Tokyo, has been announced.
“SYNCHRONICITY” is an urban music and culture festival centered around the theme “CREATION FOR THE FUTURE.” Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, this year’s event will be its largest yet, spanning 11 live venues and featuring 119 artists over two days.
At the festival’s largest venue, Spotify O-EAST, the headlining acts will be Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra on April 12 (Sat) and Shibusa Shirazu Orchestra on April 13 (Sun). Additionally, in honor of the festival’s 20th anniversary, longtime performers SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS will host a special collaborative live show, “SYNCHRONICITY 20th Anniversary Special Live!!” closing out SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO on April 13 (Sun).
More details on the collaborative projects have been unveiled.
At Spotify O-nest, a special stage will be held on both days in collaboration with “New Action!”, a long-running DJ and live event dedicated to the indie music scene. The lineup includes HALLEY, luvis, luv, Guiba, and Roki Kitamura, highlighting fresh new talent.
At LOFT9 Shibuya, a public talk session featuring guest artists will take place with support from the audio platform Voicy.
Alongside the timetable announcement, the official app now offers a personalized schedule feature. Additionally, pre-orders for limited-edition official T-shirts, available for pickup at the event, have begun. The app will also introduce options for Fast Passes and reserved seating in the coming weeks.
Ahead of the main festival, a special two-man live series, “SYNCHRONICITY’25 Wonder Vision,” will be held at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA on April 5 (Sat) and April 6 (Sun). The lineup features GEZAN and OGRE YOU ASSHOLE on April 5 and ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and Chilli Beans. on April 6.
