The first wave of 27 artists set to perform at “POP YOURS” has been announced. The festival will be held on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Halls 9–11 in Chiba.
“POP YOURS” is one of Japan’s largest hip-hop festivals, launched in 2022 under the theme “hip-hop as pop culture in the 2020s.” This year marks its fourth edition. The 2025 event was officially announced on Tuesday, January 21, sparking excitement across social media. Fans eagerly dissected the teaser video and lineup mockups, analyzing details like text length and uppercase/lowercase formatting to guess the performers, further building anticipation for the event.
The first artist lineup was revealed on the official YouTube channel of “POP YOURS.” For DAY 1, ¥ellow Bucks will headline, with performances by ANARCHY, BIM, Charlu, Jinmenusagi, JP THE WAVY, Kaneee, kZm, LANA, 7, SEEDA, 3House, and Watson. DAY 2 will feature JJJ as the headliner, alongside Bonbero, DADA, Daichi Yamamoto, Elle Teresa, Jin Dogg, Kohjiya, lil soft tennis, NENE, PUNPEE, STUTS on the WAVE, swetty, Tsubaki, and Yo-Sea. Additional artist announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
With the lineup reveal, applications for the earliest ticket lottery have also begun. Limited tickets include “Gold Tickets,” offering access to a special viewing area near the stage, and tickets bundled with a special collaboration T-shirt designed with BlackEyePatch.
Additionally, the highlights of “POP YOURS 2024” will be rebroadcast on YouTube on Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26. In 2024, LEX and Tohji headlined each day, with surprise appearances by YENTOWN and a special performance by Yuki Chiba, among a total of 44 artists. The event sold out, attracting approximately 35,000 attendees over two days, while the live stream on YouTube garnered around 560,000 viewers. The rebroadcast will begin at 2:00 PM on both days.
