The first lineup for the “GREENROOM FESTIVAL 20th Anniversary,” taking place from May 23 (Friday) to May 25 (Sunday) at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, has been announced.
Launched in Yokohama in 2005, the “GREENROOM FESTIVAL” promotes the concept of “Save The Ocean” and celebrates beach and ocean lifestyles and culture through music and art. This year marks its 20th anniversary, and the festival will expand from the usual two-day weekend event to a three-day event, adding Friday to the schedule.

The first lineup announced for the “GREENROOM FESTIVAL 20th Anniversary” includes Kamasi Washington and Jacob Collier. Kamasi Washington, a saxophonist with overwhelming charisma and musical prowess, has been leading the modern jazz scene. He has contributed to works by artists such as Flying Lotus, Thundercat, and Kendrick Lamar, showcasing his versatility. Jacob Collier, who debuted in 2016, has won six Grammy Awards and continues to excel as a singer, composer, arranger, and producer. Both artists are a fitting addition to the 20th-anniversary celebration, raising anticipation for further announcements.
