A new apparel brand, “U/MUSIC,” has been launched by Universal Music.
The brand, managed by Universal Music Group’s licensing and merchandising division BRAVADO, features products incorporating logos and artwork from its signed artists. Unlike typical tour merchandise, which emphasizes a sense of unity and extravagant flair, U/MUSIC focuses on bringing the diverse creativity of artists into everyday fashion. The core item of the brand is a T-shirt designed with patterns by FUMITO GANRYU’s Maru Ryumonjin.
The theme of the first collection is “Rock,” featuring around 10 artists such as The Who, PANTERA, SCORPIONS, DEF LEPPARD, and IMAGINE DRAGONS. The collection includes T-shirts (¥12,000 excluding tax), long-sleeve T-shirts (¥16,000 excluding tax), and sweatshirts (¥20,000 excluding tax), all printed with jackets and artwork.
The products will be available starting from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, initially sold through select shops, the company’s e-commerce site, the concept store “UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU,” and pop-up stores.
