The “Hatch Hatchel Presents: Let’s! New Year Festival 2024” will be held from Saturday, October 12th to Monday, October 14th, at the “Mino Ishitaki Campground” in Sagamihara, Kanagawa.
This festival is organized by musician Hatch Hatchel, who has revamped the music festival previously known as “Kattani Woodstock,” originally hosted by Bamba Bazar. The festival is characterized by its unique location, accessible only by boat from Lake Sagami, and the option for attendees to stay in either bungalows or tents. It has been announced that the 2024 event will mark the festival’s final edition.
As for the festival lineup, on Saturday, October 12th, there will be 10 acts including Hatch Hatchel Band, Reitaro Kimyo, Toshiyaki Chiku, Kansas City Band, and WACK WACK RHYTHM BAND. On Sunday, October 13th, 14 acts will perform, featuring Mayumi Kojima, Dekisuto Za Emons, Seiji Rokkaku Band, Kuricorda Quartet, and Hideki Kaji. On Monday, October 14th, Lemon is scheduled to perform. Additionally, “Kamidashi Kibo!!” will feature Shimoyatsu, consisting of Hatch Hatchel and Taku Shimoda (from Kansas City Band), along with the session group GIGGLEGIG, which mainly performs Irish music.
