Floating Points will perform in Japan on February 25, 2025, at EX THEATER in Roppongi, Tokyo, and on February 27 at Gorilla Hall in Osaka.
Floating Points, who released the new album Cascade on September 13, has packed this work with sounds designed for the dance floor. The album features musicians like Dan Snaith (known for his work as Caribou and Daphni), Stella Mozgawa from Warpaint, and Hikaru Utada.
This Japan tour will showcase Cascade, with laser lighting by YAMACHANG and live art by Akiko Nakayama, who also contributed to the album’s artwork. At the 2024 FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, Floating Points stunned a packed crowd at the RED MARQUEE with an intense laser-filled performance, which fans can expect to experience again.
