The Taiwan Indie Music Awards, the Golden Indie Music Awards, will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at the Taipei Music Center in Taipei, Taiwan.
The awards began in 2010 and have seen participation from a variety of Japanese artists over the years, with notable appearances such as Denki Groove and King Gnu as presenters, and music producer Seiji Kameda serving as a judge.
The “Best Asian Creative Artist Award,” which honors outstanding creators from across Asia, has previously seen nominees like Rich Brian, CHAI, ATARASHII GAKKO!, Rina Sawayama, and Mickey Yoshino.
In 2023, the Best Album Award went to Paige Su for her album You’ll Live Forever in My Songs. The Best Asian Creative Artist Award was won by Ham Tanid from Thailand for his album RhizomE x Ju Ju.
