The free music event “Hibiya Music Festival 2025” is set to take place from May 31 (Saturday) to June 1 (Sunday), 2025, at Hibiya Park and its surrounding venues in Tokyo.
Organized by music producer Seiji Kameda, the festival aims to provide everyone with the opportunity to experience exceptional live music, regardless of age or genre. Since its inception in 2019, the event has strived to offer a diverse range of music for free. The “Hibiya Music Festival 2024,” held in June, attracted a total of 175,000 attendees over two days, with online viewership reaching a combined total of 255,000 people via live and on-demand streams.
In 2025, the Hibiya Music Festival will be the last to use the current Hibiya Park Open-Air Music Hall (Yagai Ongakudo) before its renovation. Seiji Kameda commented, “2025 will be the final Hibiya Music Festival held at the current open-air venue. While Hibiya Park undergoes renovations, we plan to dynamically utilize the available areas to offer the festival’s signature experience with artist performances, interactive workshops, and delicious food, all while updating the event to stay true to the spirit of the Hibiya Music Festival.”

It’s hard to believe that a quarter of the 21st century has already passed. In the tapestry of our lives, where each day adds color and depth, music is what pushes us forward, heals us, and gently connects our hearts. That’s why, amidst the whirlwind of changing times, the Hibiya Music Festival aims to offer a rich musical experience as a free and borderless festival for everyone.
In 2025, we will hold the last Hibiya Music Festival at the current open-air venue before it undergoes renovations. Even as Hibiya Park is being renovated, we plan to dynamically utilize the available areas to offer the festival’s signature experiences, including artist performances, interactive workshops, and delicious food, all while staying true to the essence of the Hibiya Music Festival.
