“Black Nerd Fest! vol.6” will be held at Maruyama Kindergarten in Mukogaoka Yuen, Kanagawa, on Sunday, October 27.
Known as ‘Japan’s Most Humid Festival,’ the event has previously taken place at public facilities such as the Hachiro Regional Plaza Azuma no Sato in Sumida, Tokyo, featuring performances by Keiichi Sokabe and DMBQ. This year, the festival will move to Maruyama Kindergarten for its sixth edition.
The event will feature five stages: the hall stage and floor, two classrooms, the rooftop, and the dining hall. There will be food stalls and free snacks, with free admission for high school students and younger attendees.
The lineup includes Makoto Kawamoto, Michinori Toyoda & His Band!, NON BAND, Tokutaro Hosoi and Takoashi Earphones, moreru, Broken Tape Recorders, moools, SAKA-SAMA, XOXO EXTREME, computer fight, Wagatuma, Marta Taniguchi Masaki, Hotaru-tachi, Superyou, Erina Uozumi, Lukatama, Jonathan Conditioner, Yamamoto Yamaguto Jigoku Shonen, Ryosuke Sakaguchi, and Yamaguchi Yamaguto Another Hell Meeting. The festival promises a day of boundary-crossing pop, rock, avant-garde, and folk music for all generations.
