Tennessee whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s is hosting a music event, Jack & Music, in Tokyo’s Shibuya on September 15 (Sunday).
The event, themed around the brand’s deep connection with music since its inception, promises a “special experience to fully enjoy the present moment.” It’s designed for people who resonate with the brand’s values and are committed to their own passions. This urban music event takes place in Shibuya, a globally recognized cultural hub.
The venue will be two live houses within the same building: Spotify O-EAST and duo Music Exchange. At O-EAST, the focus will be on hip-hop, with headliner Murda Beatz, a world-renowned music producer who has worked with top artists like Drake, Travis Scott, and Ariana Grande. Also performing will be popular domestic hip-hop artists such as ELLE TERESA, JP THE WAVY, and RALPH. At duo, the party will feature popular DJs like OKAMOTO REIJI & LICAXXX and SHINICHI OSAWA & JUN INAGAWA in exciting B2B sets.
In addition to the main event, a series of music events embodying the Jack Daniel’s world will take place in Shibuya throughout September. On the 7th (Saturday), CLAAAAAAP × FULLHOUSE will feature top DJs from Japan’s house and techno scenes at Circus Tokyo. Following Jack & Music on the 15th (Sunday), ACiD, a techno/house event, will be held at WOMB on the 20th (Friday). On the 26th (Thursday), Music Bar Lion will host an all-genre event titled WASP & friend, and on the 28th (Saturday), u-ha organized by Tohji will take place at O-EAST.
