The live music venue Shibuya Ongakudo is set to open in February 2025 in Udagawacho, Shibuya Ward, Tokyo.
Operated by LD&K, this will be the company’s 12th live house, with a standing capacity of 430 people. Ahead of the venue’s opening, its official website has already been launched.
LD&K, known for its focus on music and dining ventures, faced significant challenges during the pandemic, including CEO Hidemasa Otani publicly announcing ¥1 billion in debt. However, the company has since bounced back with successful openings such as Yokohama 1000Club, Shimokitazawa Shangri-La, Shibuya Kinmirai Kaikan, and Dogenzaka Church. Shibuya Ongakudo marks LD&K’s first venue in Udagawacho, where its headquarters are located, and its fifth live house in the Shibuya area, joining Chelsea Hotel, Star Lounge, Club Malcolm, and Kinmirai Kaikan.
