Kenshi Yonezu Goes Giant for AR Live Show in Harajuku

Kenshi Yonezu’s AR event, “LOST CORNER AR LIVE in HARAKADO,” is running from August 15 (Thursday) to August 25 (Sunday) at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado” in Tokyo’s Harajuku.

This event celebrates the release of Yonezu’s 6th album, “LOST CORNER,” which drops on August 21 (Wednesday). The highlight of the event is an AR LIVE experience where a giant, fictional version of Yonezu performs live, seamlessly blending with the real-life scenery of Harajuku.

To mark the opening, teaser videos, capture images, and photos of the venue have been unveiled. Attendees can catch glimpses of Yonezu making acrobatic appearances reminiscent of the “KICK BACK” music video, and even dressed as characters from the anime ‘Chainsaw Man,’ giving a preview of this unique live experience.

Additional features include photo spots with monuments representing the world of “LOST CORNER,” a display of CD samples of the upcoming album, and food and drink sales themed around the album track “Garakuta” with “JUNK FOOD.” The album’s world is brought to life in a lush rooftop garden.

The event is reservation-only, with bookings opening on August 22 (Thursday).
