Tinder’s matchmaking festival ‘MATCH FES TOKYO’ will be held from Saturday, August 10th to Friday, August 16th, primarily in the Shibuya area of Tokyo.
Tinder is a matching app used by around 50 million people each month in 190 countries and regions and in over 45 languages, primarily by young people aged 18 to 25. It offers “new connections” of various forms to the world, not limited to romance or marriage, but also for finding friends with similar interests, study buddies, and partners.
The festival is sponsored by Tinder Japan and supported by the Shibuya Tourism Association. During the festival, various events popular among Generation Z will be held, including music performances by artists like Raisan, No Murasaki, valknee, and lil soft tennis, as well as comedy shows featuring popular comedians like Frog Pond, Universe, and Benishoga. These events can be attended by installing the Tinder app and applying through the invitation links sent out, with each event having its own application period.
Additionally, the concept movie for ‘MATCH FES TOKYO’ has been released ahead of the event. The festival’s theme song, “Intersection,” used in the concept movie, was created through a collaboration between tofubeats, VaVa, and Kuruma Takahira (Reiwa Roman). The video stars Riko Seto and features the two members of Reiwa Roman, actor Nagisa Saito, and VaVa, showcasing the excitement of encountering “unknown Matches” at the festival.

On the opening day of “MATCH FES TOKYO,” August 10 (Saturday), we will host the “MATCH FES TOKYO Opening Event” at Shibuya CAST, featuring Reiwa Roman and Nagisa Saito as guests. On this day, Shibuya CAST will transform into “Shibuya MATCH Park” for one day only! Various artists and comedians participating in “MATCH FES TOKYO” will make appearances, offering a 30-minute special event that captures the excitement of the week-long festival. Participation: First-round applications will be accepted starting July 26 through the MATCH FES TOKYO website. Applicants should download the Tinder app and apply using the invitation link sent from Team Tinder or the MATCH FES TOKYO card. A lottery will be held, and each winner may bring up to two guests. Presentation of the Tinder app profile screen will be required at the venue entrance.
Application Period: July 26 (Friday) – August 4 (Sunday); Second-round applications: August 5 (Monday) – August 13 (Tuesday)
A special match live performance featuring four trending acts—Raisan, No Murasaki, valknee, and lil soft tennis—will be held, themed around the concept of “unexpected matches creating excitement.” Additionally, a secret guest is also scheduled to appear, so be sure to look forward to the “unknown matches.” Feel free to come along with a match from Tinder!

Participation: First-round applications will be accepted starting July 26 through the MATCH FES TOKYO website (www.matchfes.com). Applicants should download the Tinder app and apply using the invitation link sent from Team Tinder or the MATCH FES TOKYO card. A lottery will be held, and each winner may bring up to two guests. Presentation of the Tinder app profile screen will be required at the venue entrance.

On August 12 (Monday), “MATCH FES TOKYO” will take over Yoshimoto∞Hall, a beloved landmark of comedy in Shibuya! Enjoy the “∞MATCH Theater,” featuring a one-day-only special comedy live show with popular comedians such as Frog Pond, Universe, and Benishoga. In addition to comedy performances, there will be unique quiz events specific to Tinder, creating a special experience where comedians and users come together.
