Yuta Orisaka has released the music video for “Hachisu,” a track from his fourth album, Jumon.
“Hachisu” is the closing song of Orisaka’s first full album in two years and eight months, Jumon, which was released on June 26. The music video, directed and produced by photographer Masayuki Shioda—who also worked on the MV for “Spell” and the visualizer and album cover for the same album—and filmmaker Daisuke Ukai, features a blend of real footage and CGI. Set against the backdrop of Ueno’s Shinobazu Pond in Tokyo, the video interweaves actual scenes with imaginative, CGI-created landscapes, capturing the unfolding events in a surreal manner.
With the release of the music video, Yuta Orisaka has also shared a comment.
On a sweltering day, I drifted between the imagined and the real Shinnok池. Shioda-san and Ukita-san played as if wrapped in curtains, and I found joy in their creative play. There are individuals who are (or were) breathing, and others observing through the lens of “expression.” As the evening approached, it all seemed to merge, leaving a subtle, bittersweet feeling.
